Adam is a rare gem when it comes to tradesmen: competent, reliable, honest and affordable at the same time. He has done a number of jobs for me including hanging doors, laying vinyl click flooring, building a complete new architrave for one doorway and part fitting a kitchen as well as many other smaller jobs. I am very happy with the quality of all his work. I was lucky to find someone like Adam as I had been badly let down by a previous tradesman who had left many of these jobs unfinished whilst others were just shoddy. Adam used his considerable carpentry skills (and a positive attitude) to do a fantastic job of undoing the damage and mistakes before completing each task, which wasn’t easy. I have a few more jobs in the pipeline and won’t be trusting anyone else to do them. Adam gives 5 star service, with a smile and friendly banter thrown in. I would definitely recommend him if you need any carpentry work.

Adam is hugely enthusiastic with a very “can do” approach - he has done two jobs for me in the last month and both have gone smoothly despite the complexities of an old house. We were really impressed with his work-rate and will come back to him for other jobs when they emerge. This is the insulation job.

Our landing and spare room floorboards had badly warped and needed replacing. Adam and his partner did a great job replacing them to a high standard and at a fair price. Would contact them again for any future flooring needs.

We worked with Adam on a job regarding some fencing/panelling. The job is in two parts and he completed part one with us, our experience so far has been really positive. He's professional, reliable and actually, a really nice bloke. Makes it easy to work with someone like this. I'm confident we will have an equally positive experience working with Adam on the second part to our job. Have no issue in recommending him.

Adam repaired our door frame strengthening our home security in the process as well as putting in a new lock with fresh keys. He responded immediately and was timely and efficient with the job done to a high standard and using quality materials. He was very well priced, honest and friendly. Definitely would recommend and will use again.

Adam built and fitted 6 shelves for us for our bedroom wall. He replied almost instantly to our enquiry and was able to come and measure up and then fit the shelves the next working day which was incredible! We are so pleased with the shelves and would 100% recommend Adam for anyone looking for any carpentry work!

Found Sowerbys by chance when I desperately needed some doors planing after new flooring was laid. I got an immediate reply, he told me when he could come (that same week) and told me the cost. He arrived early actually, did the work, cleaned up afterwards and was very professional and pleasant. We are delighted.

Adam helped to build and install some bedroom cupboards. Him and Tess were extremely friendly, and professional and I will be contacting them again for any future work!
I had adam build me a shoe stand from scratch which he designed and built for me at a reasonable cost and in a timely manner. Will definitely use his services again.
